After the watch is in the case, turn Wrist Detection off. The case is not a wrist. If you leave detection on, the watch waits for skin that is not there, and the battery pays for it.
Watch app → Passcode → Wrist Detection → Off
Do this once. Then leave it off while the SE lives in Unwrist.
